Testing different control variable levels in practical trials is the only way to find better conditions. It may be a good idea to start with small changes, i.e. a small step size, in the control variables.
I want to produce "good quality", but how do I specify the optimization objectives? Can the system be too complicated for MultiSimplex? The process is not stable, how is it possible to optimize? Is MultiSimplex necessary if there is only one important variable affecting the response? Are our skill and know-how of any value? Is there any industrial experience with these methods? How does the MultiSimplex methods compare with ordinary statistical methods? Can MultiSimplex solve any optimization problem?
