optimize inductively-coupled plasma (ICP) spectroscopy: inductively-coupled plasma
atomic-emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry
(ICP-MS). Some examples of control variables (factors) that can be included are:
- Different gas flows
- RF generator power
- Sample uptake rate
- Sampling depth
- Viewing height
